Raven, a 22-lb black short-haired chihuahua mix with a short tail and a white patch on her chest, became scared and got loose from her back yard on Lathrop Rd around 8:45pm on July 2nd. She quickly moved south and was spotted on Westmont Rd around 9pm. She was last seen (we think) about 1.5 miles from home at the intersection of Onondaga Blvd and Fay Rd, around 10pm. Given the distance she covered in such a short time, our search radius is broad and we are looking all over the Syracuse area, particularly Westvale / Geddes. Raven is shy and likely to be scared, so the best approach is to remain calm, don't approach her but let her approach you, and call me to come to the location. Raven is wearing a purple collar with a silver tag that has a bird (a raven) on one side and my phone number (315-224-0259) and "Microchipped" on the other.
