August 15th is recognized annually as Check the Chip Day! Many people either adopt or purchase an animal with a microchip implanted or have it done at their local vet or shelter but then don’t give it another thought.

I lost my Labrador Retriever Choco on the 21st of February and got him back today February 28th. Having the vet put the chip in my dog was the best investment I ever made for my pet. Thanks to the person that found him and returned him. Much thanks to PetLink.net!
