Today, I had to run to the store to pick up some things for my daughter. Before we left, I asked where our Pug, Moses, was. My daughter replied, “He’s in the backyard.” It was a nice sunny day, so I did what I never do! I let him remain outside while I ran the errand. On our way to the store (around 5 miles away) I looked to the left and noted a small brown dog approaching a house and said outloud: “That looks just like Moses! Fat and everything.”

I carried on to the store and just about when I had the shopping completed I received a call. Seriously, within 15 minutes of us arriving! An employee from Small Paws Veterinary Clinic had been going home from work and saw him. She got him, took him back to work, scanned him, called PetLink and boom. I was contacted. In 10 minutes I was reunited. Moses is snoring happily on the couch, survived his big adventure near the 55mph road and made it home in time for dinner.

ONE important factor! We just moved here from VA. I was prompted to “update” information and did so for all my dogs! So thankful this story had a happy ending! 🙂

Thank you Kendra for “seeing and paying attention” ! I have learned an important lesson and will be bringing everyone in no matter how long I will be out running errands!  Thank you PetLink

I am SO GLAD your Baby is back Home safely!! My daughter volunteers at an animal shelter and SO MANY DOGS are brought in who seem to have gotten out of their homes somewhere! The animal shelter scans right away for a chip but MOST ARE UNFORTUNATELY NOT CHIPPED 😩 Our pets are chipped because should they ever get out – we want them to have a chance to make it back home!! We share this information with anyone willing to listen!  CHIPPING OUR PETS IS THE BEST DECISION WE EVER MADE!! GLAD MOSES IS HOME SAFE AND SOUND READY TO BE LOVED 🥰
