Our Miniature Pinscher, Colossus, was let out of our back yard while we were away on a trip with family for nine hours. We were notified that Colossus had been recovered after one and a half hours and were soon able to make contact with the individuals who had him, being finally reunited less than 24 hours later. Colossus’ chip had been included in a neutering package and I had actually thought to myself: ‘I would never normally buy this because I don’t think that people will bother to check for a chip, especially since we don’t keep a tag on him.’ As it turns out, chipping is more valuable and effective than I thought!
