Our cat, Abby, was brought into an animal clinic by a very caring guy who found her wandering on his two-acre plot of land. I still do not know where she had gone or how she got there but, after one month lost in the worst winter weather possible for a little 11lb cat to survive in down here, Abby managed to make it through, until found by this kind Samaritan.
Honestly, I had given up hope, but now at just 4lb in weight, not only was she found, but then because of PetLink, we have been reunited. Abby is on a long road to recovery at a clinic. She is relatively stable and still connected to an IV as her liver recovers and she slowly gains weight. We visit her everyday and look forward to being able to bring this little trooper home. Simply put – microchip your pet! We would never have expected Abby to get lost as she usually doesn’t go out much and, even then, maybe only as far as one house over. I have four other cats, all of which are chipped. Better safe than sorry! Thank you kind Samaritan and thank you, PetLink!
