We received a call from PetLink, I did not recognize the number on my cell so did not answer but they left a voicemail. Before I could check the voicemail, I received another call from the same number, I knew then I probably needed to answer it. The caller said that someone had found Lady. I was surprised because I thought she was in the backyard or in the house. After not locating her, they connected me with the caller. It was a neighbor down the street. She had been walking along our street and saw Lady in a neighbor’s yard. They knew that she must belong to someone because of collar and tag. She obtained a leash and called the number on the tag. We had inadvertently left the gate open for workers to gain access to the yard. Thank goodness we had that tag. She’s new to our family and not sure how far she might have gone.
