Bernie went missing 3/26 in the late morning. He was found around noon by Good Samaritan on the same day! He had got out of back door when it was left open, but yard is fenced and he dug out under the fence (he is an escape artist!). When he was found, merely blocks away from the house, he was brought to local animal hospital who contacted Bernie’s Vet, who in turn scanned his chip and contacted PetLink.
This is a valuable service and every pet owner should have their pet chipped. I knew I had to, as Bernie spent time as a stray in his first year of life. I adopted him as a rescue when he was one, five years ago. Thank you, PetLink!!!
