My Pit Bull Terrier, King, was, I believe, stolen almost two years ago. King came into my life when he was just four weeks old and then, suddenly, one day, he was gone, but I never lost hope, not even after almost two years! Our baby, King, is a very special part of our family and I always thought that we would one day find him. After I reported him gone I received a notification on Facebook saying that King had been seen in the area close to home but, before I could get to him someone had taken him again. The man whom I believe had originally stolen my boy King had chained him to a tree with a very thick log chain and left him outside in whatever weather conditions prevailed. King somehow got away from him, trying desperately to find his way back to his family, but everytime he would get close someone would take him farther away. Today we found him and brought him home – thanks to so many friends and social media we found our baby! Unfortunately we did not have King microchipped at the time and almost were not able to get him back because we had no real proof he belonged to us. Now, thanks to PetLink, that will never happen again!
