During the process of a house move our amazing cat, Aslan, a Maine Coon mix, ran away. We adopted Aslan from a No-kill animal shelter and he’s such a loving cat, I was really freaking out when he got out. Because he’s an indoor cat and extremely friendly, I knew he would go to anybody and might not come back to me. We posted that Aslan was missing on PetLink and all the websites we could at the time when we were living on a military posting.
Then, the last day, just before we were moving out of our old house, Aslan came back. He’s a big, big boy and there he was, sitting in the driveway waiting for us to come home. He jumped in my car door when I got there, jumped into my lap and started loving me up. Aslan is an awesome cat – it was the best feeling ever.
