On March 3rd, 2012 my cat, Curiosity, got out. I went to the shelters every few days looking for her. I filled out lost pet reports and put up posters in the hope someone had seen her. On the morning of March 16th the phone rang and on the other end was a voice that introduced himself as John from PetLink, followed by: ‘Curiosity has been found.’ He explained where she was and who had found her. John then transferred me to Dr. Lee, a veterinarian in the next town who had found her sitting on her daughter’s doorstep.
Curiosity had not traveled far. She was found less then a mile away in another apartment complex. When I heard the words, ‘Curiosity has been found’, I was so excited! For once in my life I was at a loss for words. All I could do is repeatedly thank John and Dr. Lee. When I arrived, I noticed she had lost her collar and a little weight. As I took her into my arms, she was so scared she was shaking. Upon our arrival home, she realized where she was and made herself right at home. I am so thankful for PetLink and their personnel – they are kind and professional.
My baby girl is home and words can’t truly express how grateful I am for PetLink and Dr. Lee. It took less then ten minutes to get Curiosity microchipped and registered on the website. They were the best ten minutes I ever spent … they reunited me with Curiosity.
