My husband and I recently relocated to Oregon. Finding our options for housing were limited so we decided that until we were able to qualify for residency, it would be necessary to allow a rental agent to foster our cat, Snoshu. We felt initially secure about this woman as she professed to be an ‘animal expert’. However, after Snoshu had been in her care for just one week, I received an email from PetLink stating that our cat had been ‘found’. Needless to say, since we had not been aware that Snoshu had been lost, let alone found, we were confused and devastated! Apparently the new foster person was not who she claimed to be. We confronted her about our cat and she claimed the cat was still at her home. After a few phone calls, we were able to locate our beloved Snoshu who had been taken to a local shelter. We were able to retrieve her from the facility without any problems and were happily reunited. If it had not been for PetLink, we would still be under the impression that she was being well cared for. Snoshu has been with us since 2002 and is a very established part of our family. It’s great to have her back! I will always be grateful and indebted to PetLink. Also, I encourage anyone with a pet to have them microchipped and registered in order to avoid losing your beloved pet forever. Thank you so much for being here for our pets and thank you again for helping to save Snoshu!
