I lost my Chihuahua, Judo, when we were at a parking lot. He got loose from his collar and started running away and I spent hours looking for him. Because he is microchipped, I immediately reported him as a lost dog on the PetLink website as well as sending out many ‘Pet lost’ reports to all the animal shelters and services in the area. Actually, during the month that Judo was lost, I posted all over and even went in person to shelters on the weekend to look for him. After a month, I got a call from a shelter telling me that Judo had been found and that, thanks to his microchip, they had been immediately able to contact me through a phone call. PetLink had also sent me an email as soon as Judo was found. I was reunited with him and he was very happy to see me again!
