My orange tabby got out of our new third floor apartment one night when we didn’t realize the door hadn’t shut all the way. I have been heartbroken, and my dog lost her best friend. That was two months ago. I immediately marked her as lost on PetLink and worried she would never be found as she is not a social cat. Well today I got a text from PetLink that she had been found, and received a call from the local humane society moments later. My Lenna is home! She approached a couple yesterday, and they took her to the local shelter to get checked out and scanned. God bless them. She looks like she has seen some things and has the battle scars to show it. She’s more chill than I’ve ever known her to be.

My dog is stoked. I am thrilled. My heart is happy. She has been curled up in my lap purring for hours. I am so grateful for this outcome. Our next step may be GPS tracking though.
