I doubt I would have gotten Mudbug, my Vizsla/Pit Bull mix, back after six months if she hadn’t had a PetLink microchip. After she had been missing for three months I gave up going to the shelters every week. It was just too heartbreaking to see all the lost dogs parted from their own families and still walk out without my baby. I heard that some shelters throw away lost dog flyers after a week which was also discouraging. Now we are reunited and I am so grateful we got Mudbug chipped!
