Our cat, Pippin, got out of the house late one night and, since this was a normal thing for him to do, I left him for about an hour, figuring he’d be bored by then and ready to come back in. This time, when I called for him, he didn’t appear. I tried going out and yelling for him three times over the span of an hour before going to bed, hoping Pippin was just out playing …
On getting up the next morning I immediately went out to check for him, but still nothing. I continued to try and find him several times more throughout the day. Pippin has a PetLink microchip but I was concerned because he could have been anywhere on our one-hundred-acre farm. Finally my neighbor heard me calling for Pippin and told me my poor little puss was in his goat pen, where he most likely had been since the night before! I was so happy to have my baby back home.
