About three years ago, I got a brand new puppy, an American Pit Bull Terrier, we called him Roscoe and everything was nice. Roscoe was great with the kids and loved being outside to run and jump. About six months later all that changed. We left Roscoe outside in the backyard one day. My girlfriend said that when she had come home for lunch that day Roscoe was home but, when we got back three hours later, he was gone. I looked all over for days and couldn’t find Roscoe anywhere. For a long time we couldn’t stop talking or thinking about him. As time went by we eventually got a new puppy which is now a grown dog.
Well, just the other day, two and a half years later, on Instagram I saw a picture of a dog that looked just like my old dog, Roscoe. We thought we would never see him again but, to cut my long story short, we did a little investigation to see if it really was Roscoe before we called the cops. After gathering all the information we needed, we called the cops and told them the story of how we might have found our dog who was lost more than two years ago. When all was said and done, we got Roscoe back and it was all because of the chip from PetLink. After two years, I didn’t remember my online information relating to Roscoe and PetLink asked the necessary questions to get my information. Then, the microchip number was all the police needed to recover him. When they got the dog and scanned him, it came back in my name. Roscoe was just like he never left when he saw me. I called his name and he started wagging his tail. So now he is back home doing great thanks to PetLink.
