We’ve had Hazen for 9 years, and we recently moved to another area of Seattle, 5 miles away. We had been there for 6 weeks when Hazen went out one night and did not return. We’re guessing that something chased him and in running away, he could not find his way back. But one VERY kind young woman had discovered him hanging around her house, about 1 1/2 miles away from us. She fed him, and let him come and go in her house. But he was so sweet, she felt he must be microchipped, and when he seemed to be rather sick, she brought him to a vet where he was scanned. PetLink was able to provide my contact information to the vet who then in turn contacted me. Thank you so much PetLink! Hazen is now home after being missing for over 5 weeks.
