Our Labrador Retriever, Mia, was hit by a car on Christmas Eve. The Sheriff’s Department scanned Mia’s microchip and I was able to get to the emergency room ASAP to get her treated. PetLink was fantastic in relaying the information from chip to scanner to database, so they could contact us within minutes of the incident. In fact, that scan saved Mia’s life since without a chip, an injured pet is euthanized in the city where we live. The good news is we got Mia home for Christmas and she is on the road to recovery now.
