Our cat, Mies, disappeared for about ten days. It was some employees at a food franchise who found Mies and noticed that he didn’t have a collar. They took him into our local vet who, in turn, scanned Mies and got our contact information from PetLink. Because his collar had come off, we realized that if Mies didn’t have a microchip which links to our information via PetLink, our beloved tabby would never have been returned to us. We got the call that he was being cared for and picked him up. Wandering Mies is back home and on lockdown now because he’s not going outside again anytime soon!
