MILES IS HOME!!!! I got an email last night from PetLink’s microchip registry service saying that my missing cat Miles had been found. I called PetLink first thing this morning and they connected me with the person who had found him. That person in fact turned out to be York County Animal Control which is 35 miles or more from where I live!!! They had picked Miles up last week but his chip didn’t show up until they rescanned him yesterday. Miles had lost his regular tag and his PetLink tag, so his microchip was the only thing that identified him and brought him home to me. My feeling is that somebody catnapped my beautiful champagne-colored puss a while back and that he finally escaped their clutches! Miles is getting a thorough check-up at a cat clinic today and I’ll bring him home this afternoon. Happy ending!
