It was one of the worst afternoons I have had in quite a while. My dogs and I were playing in the game room. Suddenly there was a knock on my front door. It was a man soliciting and the dogs were going crazy because it was a stranger. I had a hard time telling him I wasn’t interested. All of a sudden both dogs darted out. Winston stayed put on the porch but Merlin, my miniature Schnauzer, took off. School was just out and Merlin ran so fast to the kids at the school I couldn’t keep up. I ran back for the car but he was long gone. I cried for four hours and then it came – the call I was waiting for – it was for me to pick up Merlin. Thank the Lord for PetLink!
