My Pit Bull, Sirocco, or Rocz, as we call him, is always breaking his chain. He never usually leaves the yard … until today. He broke away and ended up in my neighbor’s yard. Thankfully, we had him microchipped a few months ago. This meant my neighbors were able to go online and input Rocz’ unique ID with PetLink, who then got on the line to notify us that he had escaped.
The entire time this was going on I was asleep – I had no idea that he wasn’t in the yard! They called all of my contact numbers until someone was reached. Thank you to PetLink for working so fast to return Rocz home. Microchipping your pets is a smart thing to do. I am glad we did it.
