Lily, our indoor/outdoor feral rescue, never returned home on September 17th. After extensive searching, reaching out to neighbors, and joining local lost pet groups, we assumed the worst. Living in the countryside with dense woods, wildlife, and winding roads, the odds were we’d never see her again.
Two long months later, on the evening of November 11th, we received an email from PetLink. Lily had been found! We were overjoyed and still can’t believe it. Someone had discovered her approximately five miles away from our home. That evening, we were able to pick her up and bring her back to her rightful place.
Having Lily back home is a wonderful feeling. We are so grateful that we had her microchipped as soon as we adopted her. Now, she is safely home, resting after her incredible journey!
