I went on vacation to Ohio and left my babies, Skeeter, a Pekingese, and Layla, a Bichon Frise, with my parents. While getting off the plane when I returned to Florida, I received a phone call from PetLink saying that Skeeter had been found. I had no idea he had even gotten out! I phoned the house and, sure enough, Skeeter was not there.
Someone had found Skeeter and taken him to the local vet. They scanned him for a chip and that’s when PetLink called me. PetLink was able to speak to the vet while on the phone with me and the vet told me that Skeeter was safe and sound. I think that if it hadn’t been for PetLink and Skeeter’s microchip, the people who found him would have kept him because he is a cutie 🙂 A family member went down to the vet and picked Skeeter up for me. Thanks PetLink!! You told me Skeeter was found and made sure he got home!
