A few weeks ago, someone called me on my cell phone to say they had Sam. He’s a border collie with a mix of something else, perhaps Husky. He has blue, blue eyes and an interesting double coat. Also, like Huskies, he’s almost too intelligent. That’s how he gets himself on the other side of the fence. In fact, Sam was making a habit of crawling through a hole in the fence but then he would just sit in the front yard. This time he went further but still only over the street. We were reunited the same day. The lady from animal control was nice enough to call me and ask where my house was. Even though I wasn’t home, she put him in the yard for me.
