One night I was walking Bear, like we always do, and a big pit bull came out of no where and attacked my baby Bear. He might be a Bernese Mountain Dog but he is only 4 months old so he isn’t that big yet. Bear fought his way out of his collar and ran away from that dog. Needless to say he got lost because our nightly walks occur right before sun down. My family and I searched for hours on end, I didn’t sleep all night and I was out searching for him as soon as the sun came up. Living in a small town someone noticed Bear and knew that he belonged to me and brought him home. I never want to have the feeling of not being able to find him again. So we got him chipped.
