One day, I came home from work to find that the window screen of my apartment on the third level was out. This was on October 20th. I searched everywhere for my six-month-old kitten, Willow, but she was nowhere to be found. The animal shelter had suggested that I should file a lost pet report and also told me about the option for posting that Willow was missing on PetLink, which I rushed to do right away.
Today, on November 4th, I got a phone call telling me that the animal police had found my Willow and that she was at the animal shelter waiting for me. At the shelter, before they called me, they double-checked her PetLink microchip and, sure enough, it was Willow! I was so excited! I went straight to the shelter to collect Willow. She was very happy to see me and also happy to come back to her home. I am so happy and grateful.
