Our beloved Boxer, Kiya, was reunited with my sister, who was watching her while my wife and I were on vacation. Kiya had jumped the fence at my sister’s house on the first day we were gone. She was pacing in front of the house because she couldn’t get back in and was spotted by a neighbor.
The neighbor called Animal Control and they came and picked her up. Animal control checked for a microchip and that’s how I found out Kiya was missing. My sister found out she was at Animal Control when the neighbor saw her posting “Lost dog” signs and then she called PetLink. We are just relieved that she is okay!
My best advice is that, if you have a pet, get it microchipped with PetLink. Their chips save lives. Read more
