Rusty was taken by a family member, whom was babysitting my dog and is now refusing to return him.
Rusty was brought to Palmyra, PA 17078. The family member has stopped communication. Rusty's primary vet was not contacted for record verification or transfer. My family member told me he sent Rusty to a trainer, but has not provided any further information.
Rusty is service trained for diabetic shock and cPTSD.
I am trying to remain civil with this family member and resolve this situation peacefully, despite breaking the law. This situation has hospitalized me more than twice within the last year, and I feel I have no choice but to press charges for the return of my assistance animal.
