He is an indoor/outdoor cat because he was feral when first found in MO July 2021. We moved to VA in March 2024 from MO and Captain was trying to find where he fit in the new neighborhood.
Captain would be outside in the grass as he watched me leave for work in the morning. Then about 6pm I'd be home and he'd come running when I called for him.
That night of Aug 20, 2024 he never showed up and we've not seen him since. After weeks of flyers left door to door, walking the neighborhood, visiting shelters, nothing came of it.
As of today 12/20/2025 we still haven't heard/seen anything of our boy. We've moved from that Newport News neighborhood but still drive through every so often, hoping to see him again.
