Circumstances

This cat was adopted from Angels for Animals and has always been very skittish. She turned 10 in July. We have had her from 10 months old. She had 3 traumatic experiences recently. She was taken to the vet with her 4 kitty sisters. Then she got spooked, jumped on a shelf that collapsed and broke 4 figurines causing a loud noise,. Lastly, her kitty sister successfully opened the patio door and that's when I think she seized the opportunity to get out. This was her first time outside in over 9 years. We didn't immediately know she had gotten out because she hadn't been seen, presumably hiding since the shelf incident July 17th. But as the time increased without seeing her, we thought she must have gotten out that night. All of her other kitty sisters stayed in. Two of which have escaped before.
