My children had been asking for a pet for a long time. So, when they had showed themselves to be responsible enough we decided to adopt Charlie, a Dachshund/Beagle mix. We discovered that Charlie already had a microchip as part of the adoption service. This added security reinforced how to be responsible for your pet’s whereabouts. Now my kids know that Charlie’s chip gives us more chances to recover him in case he gets lost.
