My beautiful black cat, Carbon Mike, went missing in the winter and I walked the neighborhood looking for him. Also, I used a PetLink poster, which I put up in local schools and libraries. That worked out well because lots of people saw it and you can upload a picture of your missing pet. But that wasn’t the way I found him…
After Carbon Mike had been missing for eight days, my neighbor heard the sound of meowing from beneath his house. Carbon Mike had been trapped there since some irrigation and winterization serviceman had neglected to close the crawl-space door properly. So, now, Mike’s a bit skinnier but at least he’s back.
