Alithea got out of yard when I was at work, and was found by an animal professional around the corner from the house (on our normal walking route). After they found her they scanned her, called me, and brought her back to the house for me! I work at an animal hospital and we encourage pet owners to get chips. This was the first time I needed it for my own pet. I am so relieved she was discovered so quickly and very impressed with how soon I was contacted! I will be even more vocal for pet owners getting their pets chipped at the clinic! Thank you!
