November 2019 we moved to a new home. We took the pets last thinking that would be easier for them. As we were getting Bacon in the car he got really scared and bolted. We searching for hours, put up signs and came back to the neighborhood often in search for him. Out of no where we received a call from a local veterinarian saying that he had been brought in. He has lost weight and does have a small cut but is doing very well. Luckily he had just had his annual before escaping so everything was still current including his rabies shot. We are beyond thrilled to have him home and he is never leaving again.
