I came home from work and decided to let our little Boston Terrier, Chloe, out onto the back porch to enjoy the nice weather. It was my lunch break and our back porch has a screen. However, in that short time, Chloe managed to escape because, when my husband came home an hour later, she was nowhere to be found.
We had recently moved, and I had forgotten to update our contact info on PetLink. We looked everywhere, but Chloe was still unfindable. Luckily, my email address was the same! After posting a ‘Lost dog’ ad on Craigslist, I discovered an email from PetLink telling me that Chloe had been found. The email said that Chloe had been picked up by a good Samaritan and brought to the local shelter. Thanks to Chloe’s microchip, the shelter was able to contact PetLink and, because PetLink had my email, I was notified right away that Chloe had been found. I went to claim her just a few minutes later!
