My Doberman Pinscher, Brody, is a character. We have an electric fence and, not long ago, Brody ran off through it with one of our female dogs. They were most likely stimulated by a rabbit or deer to brave the electric barrier but often times a dog won’t jump back through an electric fence.

The female dog came back but Brody had disappeared. He was gone four or five long hours and we were scared for him – he’s like one of our kids. We got a call from PetLink saying that the police had picked him up and taken him to the pound. It was the first time we used the chip and it worked beautifully. I was really glad he had it.
