A month ago our dog Harley decided she had had enough fun in our yard and wanted to play on the other side of the fence. She jumped over and was gone. My wife and I were both at work, not realising that Harley had taken flight, when I received a phone call from a vet based fairly close to my house. Sure enough, Harley had been picked up by a passerby and deposited at the vet’s. They scanned her chip and I had her back in my yard within the hour!
