Rajah, a pampered 12-year-old indoor cat, slipped out the front door on a cold, windy December night and I didn’t immediately realize he was gone. As soon as I did, I began to hunt for him. I searched, put up posters and called shelters for several months. I’d given up hope that Rajah had survived being outside in the cold for months. Then one day, three months after his disappearance, I received a call at work telling me that he’d been found! I was overjoyed! He was in great shape and in very good health! Now he follows me everywhere – in the house – and doesn’t let me out of his sight!
Rajah is an older indoor cat and he had wandered far from home. I wouldn’t have ever gotten him back without PetLink. The nice lady who found him, took him to a vet to be scanned and that’s the only reason Rajah and I were reunited! The microchip was literally the only possible way Rajah could have been reunited with me under the circumstances.
