Scarlet was out in the front yard. She got away from the gate and was found a couple of blocks away by a lady. She took Scarlet to a veterinarian who scanned her and found her chip. I had called PetLink to say she was missing and then I quickly had a response to say Scarlet had been found. My first concern was that, if she was at the animal hospital she might be injured, but she was fine and I went to meet Scarlet with the lady a couple of blocks away. She managed to break out of her breakaway collar but the chip worked, otherwise I would probably never have found her.
