We were very pleased to have our Catahoula Leopard dog, Scout, back home after he went missing. We felt very lucky that everything worked out so well for him and for us. He had the whole family out, walking several miles trying to find him. Then came a phone call from the authorities to say a woman had picked him up. They identified him, tracked us down and were kind enough to deliver him to us. It was wonderful, just wonderful. I’m very pleased with the PetLink service.
Scout is a dog with unusual colors, apricot and merle. He was a stray and has straying tendencies as we’ve seen. We found out about him through our veterinarian who was looking to place him with a family. My son, Aiden, wanted us to take him in and saved up five months allowance to pay for the adoption costs. It was a huge accomplishment for him.
