We have lots of children so our gate gets left open pretty often. We only live half a block from an off-leash dog park so when the opportunity presents itself, our black Lab, Justus, always goes straight there – all by himself! The park is full of lots of dog lovers and what generally happens is that after an hour of happy roaming, Justus is taken by some kind soul to get scanned and we are reunited. His name tag seems to come off but his PetLink tags stay on, so people know he’s chipped. This last time he was running around outside of the dog park and someone walking their dog had Justus scanned and brought him straight to our door!
