Our beautiful Tuxedo kitty, Angus, was a rescue cat who has had a lot of trips to the veterinarian … for an abscess, a virus, a lacerated eye, and a second virus! We’ve only had Angus for two years but, in September, he left our yard and simply disappeared. Day after day, my husband and I went looking, we put up posters and reported him missing to shelters and to PetLink.
After seven weeks Angus was still missing. Then, out of the blue, I got a call from a shelter saying they had him. Someone had been feeding him at her home and then brought him into the shelter. He was found in a town about 15 miles away! I have no idea how he got there, but it was his microchip that saved him. I think he is just as happy to be home as we are to have him back with us.
PetLink saved our cat’s life, I have no doubt about that!
