My Border Collie, Pinto, got out of the yard and went missing early in 2012. I was reunited with him 10 months later thanks to the PetLink program and the local animal control facility that scans each animal that is brought into the shelter.
PetLink is an amazing program! I got my dog back because of the microchip and the PetLink registration. I had updated my contact information that is stored on PetLink and the shelter was able to call me and confirm that Pinto was my dog.
