My dog, Chompers, is a four-year-old Rat Terrier who acts like she’s queen of the kingdom, until July 4 rolls around. She is terrified by the loud fireworks and shouting people. This, plus the fact that we had just moved into a new house, caused her to want to escape from the yard while I was away working. When I returned, I was panicked to find that my baby was missing and I knew she wasn’t wearing her collar!
I usually don’t put her collar on her since she never bolts or runs for any reason. Luckily, someone found her and returned her to the nearest veterinary clinic where they were able to scan her microchip. I was contacted immediately and reunited with Chompers the same day! I am so grateful for PetLink, especially the email reminders to update my contact info!
