Venus got into the yard next door through a hole under the fence. I guess, as she’s a Pit Bull, she wasn’t welcome there. She was put out onto the street where she got hit by two cars. That must have happened in the space of the couple of hours I was out looking for her. Someone said they’d seen her but it wasn’t until I got a call saying that she was found that I realized what had happened to her. The person who had her and found me through PetLink held on to her until I could come. I’m real lucky they didn’t take off with Venus or snatch her. She’s worth a lot of money. That was in October but now it’s like she was never knocked down at all. She’s one hell of a strong dog!
