We were visiting family on a Saturday, about two hours away from our home. We put our dogs in the house but with all the in and out traffic, Li Ming managed to escape. Twelve of us searched for her for over an hour with no luck. I logged in to PetLink to file a report indicating she was lost, hoping for the best, but my wife was heartbroken, missing her baby. On Monday, while I was busy placing classifieds for our lost dog, I received a call from a groomer in the city where my wife works. Someone had found Li Ming on the highway, apparently going home. They brought her in to get groomed and cleaned up and the groomer happened to have a scanner. The neatest thing was the fact that the groomer was about a half a mile away on the same road where my wife works.
