I was unaware that my Chihuahua Timmy had even gone missing! I was out to dinner when I got an alert saying Timmy had been found by a Good Samaritan and taken to be identified at the local emergency vet. Not so big himself, Timmy had gotten out through the cat door and under the fence! If Timmy hadn’t been microchipped, the chances of him being returned to me would have been small since he wasn’t wearing a collar and had managed to roam a couple of miles away. I was so grateful someone picked him up on the highway before he might be hit by a car and so thankful they found me through his PetLink identiciation.
