My baby is home! Happy, my sweet rust and white Siamese mix who is well loved by the neighborhood, has the habit of greeting our neighbor, Charles, at 7:00 a.m. every morning. Happy loves to hop on Charles’ golf cart. On December 4th 2015 I did not hear the greeting and subsequently Happy was missing for 72 hours. As Happy had been missing for a long time, perhaps stolen in the past, I was really panicked.
Knowing that Happy had a PetLink microchip gave me hope and ideas. I placed flyers in the neighborhood and my neighbor, who spotted and contained my cat, called me and Happy and I were reunited. I placed 75 colored flyers in the neighborhood following the idea suggested by PetLink. All the while, I had the peace of mind, knowing that if Happy was picked up, they would scan him and contact me.
