Our outdoor/indoor cat, Chase, is known to be adventurous and very trusting. It isn’t unusual for him to be gone for several days, but he always returns home in less than a week. After a week and a half with no Chase, I started becoming worried. I asked my neighbor, whom Chase visits frequently, if he had seen Chase. He said, “I just saw him a few days ago.”
Then, I received a call from PetLink saying Chase had been found. I didn’t know he was officially missing! PetLink put me in contact with the finder, who brought him to my home. Turns out, we’re Facebook friends! She was posting pictures on her Facebook page, but I never saw them. Also, she felt the microchip in Chase’s back and had her vet scan the chip. That’s how she knew to contact PetLink.
